Arrival Story: Ever since my dog Maxine passed away, I felt so deprived. We got Cookie on the 26th of June, 2009. But before I found her, it took hours and hours of web surfing. I was looking for a big dog, since I'm a somewhat "tough" person, I liked looking superior and tough and such. I surfed through a lot of websites. Numbers of Golden Retrievers, Labradors, GSD's, Belgian Malamutes, Siberian Huskies, and the like were for sale. I then came across an ad. An ad that contained the pictures of what it appeared to be, a young Siberian Husky. (Her ears are floppy. Hehe...) I told my dad that this pup seemed quite interesting and rare, so we decided to buy her.
For first few weeks, we kept her in a cage in our living room. She kept on whimpering, whining and barking to the point it really got me mad. So the next morning, I texted the seller and I complained to her that the dog was out of control and just plain annoying since she also chewed up our wires and cables. So basically, Cookie was a nuisance. And then the seller reminded that I promised to take care of Cookie. So I felt bad, apologized and decided to give Cookie another chance. So far, she's turned to be a good dog, easy to teach and very playful. That's the way I like it. Hehe... :)
