Likes:
Nikki loves food, her peeps and us.

Pet-Peeves:
When the others don't feel like playing, she will agrivate them until they play. Going to the vet is not her favorite thing to do.

Favorite Toy:
She has a rope with a tennis ball attached to it, cow hoofs.

Favorite Food:
Taste of the Wild and canned food. Well, any thing that she can eat is her favorite. We train her using chicken livers, so she loves those.

Favorite Walk:
Any where, she loves to walk.

Best Tricks:
No tricks yet, still a puppy.

Arrival Story:
We found Nikki on ebay classifieds. She was from Pacolet, SC. Nikki was in bad shape when we went to look at the puppies the breeder had, but we couldn't just leave her there. We don't think she would be alive today if we didn't take her. She was very small, weak, dehydrated, underfed, and full of worms. Today, 4 weeks after we got her, she doesn't look like the same dog. She has over doubled her weight, her coat is beautiful and shinny, and no worms.Nikki is very sweet and laid back, but has a protective side to her which is one reason we wanted a GSD. At three months she already warns us if someone is around. We think she knows she was saved from death and is turning out to be a wonderful dog, very smart, and is already learning a lot, especially obedience training. Her 'brothers and sister" are her peeps and she loves them.

Bio:
It is now January, 2012, wow time sure fly's when your having fun. Mom changed my profile picture for now, and you can see how much I have grown since they adopted me. The vet said I would probably only get to about 50 pounds full grown, but at 7 months I am already over 60, so I might be bigger than they thought. All that love and good food sure helps. I have one problem that I can't seem to get over, and that is I don't like to go in the house. I get very nervous and sick to my stomach and I don't know why. I love to go into the garage and mom and dad don't understand why I won't come in the house. We are going to a trainer to see if they can help me get over my fear. Nothing bad happened to me in the house when I would come in as a tiny puppy, but now that I am bigger I don't like it. Mom got me for a house dog, so I guess I need to get over this fear I have. But until then I will be happy outside in the fenced in yard. I can run and play and re-landscape the yard. I love to dig and I know mom and dad don't like that I do that, but they don't get mad, I just hear them say, it's only dirt and can be fixed. I'm glad they understand that I love the smell of dirt and love to dig. Yes, I'm still a puppy, and I know one day I will outgrow my bad puppy habits. I will get more pictures and put them on here so you can see how big I end up getting when I am grown. Bye for now and Woof Woof!

More about me!:
I was a sick puppy when my mom and dad bought me. Now I don't look the same as I did because they love me and feed me good food. My picture was taken the week after they brought me home, it was taken at the vets office where I got my first shots and deworming, done. I feel so much better now and I am a happy puppy. I still have tons of growing to do, but I am happily on my way to being a big dog. I will keep you posted on my progress.
