Meet Feathers! Feathers is a 6-year-old fawn female who adores her people!
Feathers currently has pain in her hip; she is currently under evaluation for it, and if she needs surgery, it will be covered by ABR. When Feathers takes her medication for her hip, she runs like the wind, but otherwise, she does tend to favor it some.
Feathers currently lives in a home with two Boston Terries, but she is way more interested in people than dogs. Slow introductions are recommended for her, as she was a bit uncertain and growly (just warning) to the dogs in her foster homes the first few days, but after some correction and getting used to each other, they get along just fine. Feathers mostly ignores them. Feathers is not recommended for a home with cats.
Feathers loves and adores people. She would probably be great with older children, but has not been tested with small children. She is extremely smart and wants to please her humans. Once she trusts you, she will stick to you like glue! She loves to snuggle and even leaves a tiny bit of room in bed for her human!
Feathers is house-broken, crate-trained, and is learning to walk appropriately on a leash. She adores chewing, but so far has not had any incidents of chewing on inappropriate items - she sticks to her doggy toys and chews for that!
Feathers will make a great addition to a family looking for a faithful friend!
