Nicknames: Austin Boxer Rescue Arrival Story: Meet Sunkist! She's a petite fawn Boxer, with a flashy patch on the left side of her face. Sunkist came to rescue from kill-shelter in Ft. Worth. Sunkist is currently Heartworm positive and will be treated once she's in her forever home.
Sunkist is a low-energy Boxer, who enjoys walks, car rides and hanging out with her humans, whether lounging at home or on the go. She also likes soft fleecy toys and a bone to gnaw. Sunkist is trustworthy when she is left home alone. When in the house with her humans, she settles right down and does fine both in and out of her crate.
Sunkist is well-behaved and has great dog-manners. Once she knows what is expected of her, she is very eager to please! She walks well on her leash. Sunkist knows a few basic commands, and could benefit from additional obedience training.
Sunkist may be best in a home with larger dogs or as an "only" dog-child. In the past, her style of play has been a bit overwhelming for smaller dogs.
