Arrival Story:
Sam was called Simba. My son was asked if we wanted another Shih Tzu since we already had one. This little guy needed a home and quick. His Dad is an Iraqi vet. He guarded a high official. He was shot in the leg by a sniper. He was also warned by dogs that barked every time there was an attack. When his Dad got home he had PTSD, night terrors and everything else that went along with the war. The sound of the dogs in the house barking would set every thing off. So they had to re-home all their dogs. Sam also was neglected and tied to a tree in the dirt. He was very matted and just a sad little guy. Now Sam has a furever home..!Layout made by Sarzec and Bright Eyes .linkback_topleft { position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; } /*BEGIN_ABOUT_CONTENT

My First Easter

Although I'm 2 this is my first Easter. I've never been in a home that cared if I was part of the family. I now have a furever home with lots of love and siblings. Oh I'm so loved now.
I find Easter a rather strange holiday. I heard there was a giant bunny that leaves goodies and then pulls a trick on you by hiding eggs. These eggs aren't normal eggs. They have been colored. I just want to learn how to open that refrigerator. So I'll be on the watch to learn.
I have come a long ways since I arrived here. I'm no longer tied up to a tree outside and left in the dirt. I sleep in a king size bed with my mom and Stormy. I have lots of food and I'm even learning how to like men. I now trust my Daddy and brother. They can even lay me on my back. I have enough food to eat and toys to play with. I am loved.
So I'm so thankful for this Easter. I feel very blessed to have a good home and all the love I can handle. I also love back. Life is worth living and my world is good.....Hugs Sam I Am
