My New Forever Home

Getting Comfy In My New Home

Well, I've been here in my new home since the end of Sept. 2011 and I really like my new home. I have a soft hand made bed in every room in the house except the bathroom. I'm allowed to hop up on the bed and all the couches too. But usually I want to be with my mom and dad who usually sit on the leather couches. I watch football with my dad, and sometimes he slips me a chip or two, when mom's not looking. I love my new food. It's really good and several times a week my mom makes me chicken, and dad makes me some scrambled eggs. I never had food like that before. My fur is growing in pretty fast and it's long enough to have some bows. I really like having the pretty bows, 'cuz some humans think I'm a boy. The bows help make that clear. Mostly I love having my mom and dad. I get hugs and pets every day. I sleep on the Big Bed with them at night, or in my own little snuggle bed if want. I go for a walk every night with my dad and on the weekends, my mom takes me to the Dog Park and for extra walks around the neighborhood. I love Connor too. He keeps me company when mom and dad are at work. It's nice to have him around and I know he likes me. He always wants to be next to me at night! xoxoxo

I love my new home!

I really like my new forever home. I get to eat really good for me food. I eat Solid Gold, Wellness, and Canidae. I get to go for a walk around the neighborhood every night with my dad. I have harnesses that match the season, and I get to sit with my dad on the couch while he watches TV. He pets me. At night time I sleep with Connor and he keeps me warm. I really like him. He's a cute guy. During the day I go out to my porch and watch the squirrels and the other dogs from the neighborhood. Me and Connor always bark and bark at them as they go by. Last week, my mom took me to my new vet who took the stitch out from under my eye. She was really gentle with me and it feels great now.This weekend I hear we will be putting up the Halloween lights. I can't wait to see that! xoxoxxo

Coming Home

I am finally at my Forever Home with Connor,mom, and dad. Man! What a great place! I met Connor, my fur sib at a nearby park. He's pretty handsome.I was tired after my long ride in the car. I was a little sad to leave my Auntie Linda, who is every Sheltie's Guardian Angel. She loved me and rescued me when I was alone, scared, and lost.I miss her, but I'm glad to be here with Tim, mom and Connor. We got back into the car for a short ride and then I arrived at a pretty yellow house that I know is my forever home now. I went inside and walked around a little bit. I found a LOT of beds in all the rooms. Soon, I found a chew to work on for a little while. Then I took a nap. When I woke up, it was dinner time.I love my new home. I'm allowed to get up on the bed or the couch if I want to. And there's a lot of dog beds for me! I want to thank my Angel Fur Sister MacKenzie Girl, who I know is watching over me with Cuailgne and Lindsay. They all love me, and wish me well in my new safe home. I love them too.
