Diamond Girl's Diary

First full day

This was an awesome day. I love my new yard. It's perfect. I like our room......we have our own room now. Me mother and Molly sleep in the room in our wire kennels. We are so cozy in there in our soft bed. I have my mother sleeping with me. I'm still a baby so I need my mother. Becides that we keep each other warm.

The food is yummy. Tastes just like my food from home. Our new dad put us up in the recliner with him this afternoon and all 3 dogs and dad took a nap together. It was like when I was at my foster home. I hope my foster dad will be OK without me. I thought about him and my foster mom too. I hope they know I love them.

A new home.

Mom gave me and my mother a bath this morning. She sprayed that smelly stuff on us after. Then we went for a long ride and met our new family. A mom, a Dad and a Papillon named Molly. She's small and she is real pretty. I love it here. The house is big and the yard is so niiiiiiice. I ran and ran. Mother just watched but did walk around a little outside.
I had so many new smells and after a while my parents left!!! They forgot to take me and my mother with them. Mother said this is home now and she will stay close and watch over me. I'm so tired. So much went on today. Let see if I want to stay here. I'm so glad my mother is with me.

Adopted!

My Mommy told me we are being adopted. She said Mom has checked these people out up and down. Taklked to their vet twice and made sure all is perfect. She really wants to keep us. She loves us very much BUT she has a need in her heart to help others like she did us. I think she will go get 2 new dogs when we leave. I've never lived anywhere else since the day I was born. I am going to be scared I know. I am so thankful to my Mom and to ARF-LA for helping me get such a great start to life. I have felt safe here and very loved. I know I will be safe and loved in my new home or Mom would not let me and my Mommy go. Thank goodness Mommy is comming with me.Just 3 more days till we leave. Just 3 days till our new life begins.
