Arrival Story:
We got Taffie for our daughter , when Taffie was eight months old. She was a kind, courageous, loving girl. She was always with my children, and her boyfriend, Lassie. She had one unplanned litter of puppies when she was about three, just before she was spayed. (This was the only time that any of my dogs had puppies, because they were all spayed). Taffie got a "wild hair" and climbed over a fence to have a clandestine affair with a roving shepard rogue of some type. He was reported to have come up the coast from a shepard dog hippie group in Big Sur. Anyway, some of the puppies looked like Collies, and some looked like a Collie mix. We easily found homes for three of the puppies, and kept Lance and Ginger. Lassie forgave Taffie for her indescretion, and they lived happily thereafter as boyfriend and girlfriend, in a platonic manner. Bottom picture: Taffie on left, Lance on right.
