Mom had talked about CGC training for me since I took the S.T.A.R. program. But she wasn't real confident in the instructor I had before. So she took a break from that thought but was on a local AKC Kennel clubs e-mail list for training. Well low and behold, they have a class starting in January on her day off! :):) So mom and dad talked about it, mom wasn't sure if I would enjoy it, because I'm so mellow. But dad said, as he demonstrated with me doing sit/stays look, he likes to train. You NEED to get him to the class and get his CGC. I think dad is trying to tell mom something. She hasn't felt like training because she loss Turner and did so much training with him (she loved it dad says). And since I'm so chill she didn't know if I would enjoy it. Then mom said, you know what, it's time. She called and spoke to the trainer, Deb. Mom likes the fact that she is business first! That is how mom was training with Turner. You go to the trainer to train, not have playtimes. After talking to her, mom likes this trainer, has a good "feel" about her.
