Baxter's Big Day

A crisis

Every day, I go out on the back porch, down the stairs, and into my play area, which is kind of really a poop and play area. Well, my Mom has done it now. Yesterday, two big guys came and ripped our deck right down. Now, when I look out my door, it is a BIIIIIG drop to the ground. I'm a little panicked, but Mom tells me we will get a new deck next week. In the meantime, she sure looked crabby taking me out on a leash before she had her coffee today!. I sure hope they hurry up and put my life back on track!

We're running long today! Yippy skippy!

I am really getting fast

My mommy takes me running nearly every day now. She is getting ready for a super long run -- 26 miles! That is too far for me, but we can run 15 together. I love to run, especially along the creek, when we can stop and I can swim and chase the ducks.

Yesterday, we went to the dog park and mommy threw balls for me. I guess all that running has made me a lot faster, becuase I raced a grayhound and won! I can't imagine my life without running and tennis balls!

Snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can burrow away, until just the top of my butt is poking out from the big pile of snow created by the driveway being shovelled. I love snow. I love bounding through it, digging into it, and mostly eating it.
