Thank You Dogster

I am a featured diary for today! That is exciteing for me. When I think back at how my life has changed it is very amazing. I truly am lucky in mayn ways. I was born into a home that had LOTS of my family in it already. I lived there with my mom for 2 yrs. Just when I found myself pregnant for the second time, I was taken away. Seems my human mom was allowing us to breed and could not take care of us so a relative took me and Dew, my older daughter. Her dog did not like us so she took us to the pound. :( Those were very dark and scary days. I never want to go back there and pray my children never go. They fed us and gave us water but we were so scared. I smelled death and great illness and heard dogs cry out with fear from our kennel. The one good thing was that they put us together in the same big kennel. We huddled together and comforted each other. We had been there a week when our foster mom walked in to do her volunteer time there. I didn't know her then but she stood at our kennel and cried. She wanted to touch us but we were too afraid so stayed in our corner trying to be invisable. She talked on her phone to the rescue and then she talked to our keepers. She left and I thought nothing else of it. The next day she came in again but she took us with her that time. I was so scared and poor little Dew was just so terrafied. Of course we didn't know we were headed for a wonderful life and being loved as we are. Dew's family adore her and she is so happy.

Sweet Deedee was born a short time after I came to my foster home. We were very loved there and ware safe and happy. I knew it would not last but I also knew our foster parents would keep us safe. Mom and dad fussed over Deedee as much as I did. She is a spoiled little girl.

I was not so scared when we came to our forever home. I knew it was a good place. I could feel the love our parents had for us when we walked in the door. My dad tells us every day that he loved us before he even knew us. He's awesome. Mom is good too but she is more busy like our foster mom was. Dad sits in the recliner and holds us and takes us in the yard to potty. He is an awesome dad. My life has made so many changes in the last year. I truly am lucky that the changes were for the better.
