Arrival Story:
My sister has a Blue Heeler also and works at a vet clinic. A customer brought a Blue Heeler puppy in one day and said he was a stray they found wandering the parking lot next door. Well since my sister knew I was looking for a dog, and I LOVE her heeler, she thought this was a perfect match. Jake was about 8-10 weeks old when we got him, but it was about 2 weeks later when we realized he is a special needs child. He is about 95% deaf. He is EXTREMELY intelligent and just like a kid in so many ways. He always testing us and trying to see how far he can push the limits. I love him though and wouldn't trade him for the world.
