Arrival Story:
We found a cute Shiba Inu puppy in a pet section of a country store. We had no intentions of getting a new puppy... didn't even know what a Shiba Inu was at that time...but there she was, and she stole our hearts. We walked away, one reason being I'd rather buy a puppy from a breeder. Once we got home, I started looking on line for breeders in our area that had puppies available. Three days later, I contacted a breeder that said he had one puppy, it was at a pet store on consignment, and he could get it back for us to see. Yep! It turned out to be the puppy we saw that we fell in love with! So, we went to the breeders home, found out she had been sold prior, but the people backed out of the deal, and he puts his puppies in that pet store, after he tries to sell them on his own. Granted, definately not a good thing, but we couldn't resist her, I think fate brought us to her, and her to us. I always tell her we rescued her!
