Likes: Large "indestructible" ball & his Daddy Pet-Peeves: Golf or Baseball on TV Favorite Toy: Ball Favorite Walk: Park Arrival Story: Garth's mother was a Search & Rescue dog and his father a Police K-9 for Fort Worth PD. He was being trained for K-9 work when it was discovered that he had hip displaysia so bad (at 9 months) that corrective surgery was already out of the question - only hip replacements were an option. He was retired from working to enjoy a life of leisure. Bio: Garth enjoyed his life with an older brother (Hawkeye) until we lost him at age 11 but soon got a little sister (Scout). Even though he had a terrible case of hip displaysia he never seemed to be in pain or complain - probably because he had grown up with it he didn't know any different. He loved playing with his big indestructible ball for hours on end, trying to get it in his mouth! Even though he only had a few months training as a K-9, he was said to be one of the best people had ever seen. However he spent his life as a big lap dog, sweet but protective. He loved his Daddy & Grandpa very much! I've Been On Dogster Since:
