Satchel's too easy going to have any peeves.

Favorite Toy:
Godiva's ears. Anything else he can carry, very gently in his mouth like shoes and boots. Or boxes and paper from the recycling.

Favorite Food:
All food is good. After a month worth of good meals he's almost recovered from his time at the pound. He also doesn't think we should be so concerned with the distinction between food and not food.

Favorite Walk:
Satchel will go anywhere Godiva goes. The best walks are always with her.

Best Tricks:
Used to be carrying things around in his mouth without chewing on them.

Arrival Story:
We went to two pounds to help Godiva choose a friend. It didn't work out at the first pound so we went to another pound and saw this sad, quiet, big yellow lab. Exactly the type of companion we wanted for the Diver-dog. And Satchel loved Godiva from first sight, peering over other dogs to get a better look at her. She thought he was ok so we brought him home.

Bio:
Now Satchel's chewing on everying. He still likes to carry stuff around, but once he sits down with it we're in big trouble. Earlier this evening he brought my slightly chewed sweater. And just now he tried that tablecloth trick - ya know where you yank it out from underneath the dishes? He tried it, unsucessfully, with the rug under his massive bowl of water.
