Wow I haven't written in a long time. Mom has been really busy with school and traveling. It has been getting so cold here at night so I think it is time to get out the sweaters. Mom has been suprised because I have been sleeping under the blankets on the bed which I never do. O-well a dog has to keep warm. Well all for now.

Getting ready to fly

Well I know I haven't written in a while. Things have been busy around here. Mom was gone for a week and I had to go stay with Adam's family. I liked it, but I don't think that the dog Wellington, liked me very much. Since mom feels bad about having left me last time she told me this time I get to go with her. So she bought me this new bag that she says is a carrier for the plane. It is ok but I wish it had more mesh areas for me to look out of. Anyway so today I got my certificate of health from the vet and so all I have left to do is pack. Well I don't really have to do that cause all I need to grab is Mr. Squeaky and mommy will do the rest. So I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of Thursday when mommy says I get to go fly. Hope it is fun. At least I get to be in the cabin with mommy at her feet. However she thinks it is rediculous that they charge you for the space at your feet if you have a pet, but if you don't have a pet you get that space for free. Well I am off for now to continue playing with Mr. Squeaky.

Cool Shoes and New Friend

Ok well I havent been able to write lately because I hurt my paw and mommy has been sick. I cut part of the pad off on my front right paw and I had to have it wrapped in a bandage. Then mommy put a shoe on my foot so I wouldnt lick the bandage and chew at it. My little shoes are pretty cool though, they are red and black and have a silver reflective stripe on them.

Tonight I was made a new friend, at least thats what I was thinking. Mommy took me out to go potty as usual in the evening, but this time I went out and I smelled something different. I followed the scent and found what I thought was a new friend. Mommy was mad at me though and started yelling at me. I guess this new animal was a possum. Mommy says they can be mean, but this little guy was so cute. So mommy took me inside for a bit to let the possum get away and then brought me back out. Needless to say I I went back to the area and found the scent of my new friend and tracked him down to where he was on the neighbor's porch. I dont know why he tried to run away all I wanted to do was play with him. Mommy got real mad at me and used all my names at once and made me go inside. She decided that I should be a hunting dog, whatever that mean. Well off to sleep.

Well finally my mommy got new pictures of cute me up on my page.

1) My new main photo is of me with the big squeaky ball. This ball is Koda's but I stole it. I have another one that is much smaller.

3) I like my top knot. I wonder if my tounge could hang out more.

Well I have to go distract mommy because she has to finish her physics homework. This means that I usually go over to her and sit right on her book and try to get a belly rub.

I'm Back!!!!!!

Well I know it has been a long time since I have taken the time to write. Things here at my new home are crazy. First off when we got here Mommy put me in a kennel for 5 days till her mom came and got me. I don't know where she went, but she was gone it seemed like forever. It was actually 2 weeks and when she got back she smelled weird and had all these rocks with her. It seems that she was on a geology class where she had to go camp for 2 weeks. A geology class that they didn't even let me come on. BOOOOOOO for that!!!!!! I ALWAYS got to go on her geology trips in Cali. Well now that Mommy is back we have been hanging out alot. I am getting extra belly rubs and she even bought me a new chair to sit on. I LOVE my new chair!!!! I get to sit on the back of it and watch out the window. Well it is time for bed. Night Night.

Kansas

Well after being in the car for 3 days we have finally arrived in Kansas. I saw some amazing scenery along the way driving from CA to KS. I think the worst part of the drive was through western KS because it was flat and only had a few trees.
I really like my new house, but it is a bit hard for me to run and play because the house has all hardwood floors. Mommy says they are gorgeous, but I think I prefer carpet.
My new house is on a rather busy street and lots of people walk by here everyday. I like to sit at the door and bark at everyone who passes, or if I am sitting in the front yard with mommy I will try to run up to them, bark at them, and then run away. Mommy finds this really funny since I use to hardly ever bark.
Well I think it is back to unpacking.

Something's Up

Things have been awfully crazy around here since I last wrote.

Mommy took me to the kennel and I had to stay in there for 4 days. I really am not sure if I like that but the cool thing was Koda was there also so it wasn't as bad as at Christmas. Mommy's brother came and got us which was odd because he has been gone all summer. Koda was happy to see him, but he is a bit scary to me because he is soooooo... big. I like to try to nip at his feet. Mommy came home a few days later and she was really brown. She said they were at the beach in Texas. I LOVE the beach and so I am upset she didn't take me. Her excuse was that the condo didn't allow pets. o-well

Now Koda has been getting in lots of trouble because he has a terrible habit of liking to chew up everything. He even chewed up Brittany's Dad's day planner that he has had forever and uses all the time at work. This bad habit makes me get in trouble too just by association.

OK, but on to the part about something being amiss. Mommy has started making her room a mess. She has all these piles of her stuff in her room and the garage. Also she has boxes she has been putting stuff into. Last time I saw her doing this we left her apartment, my home, and came here to this house. She says we are moving to Kansas, but why do I have to leave. I wonder were that is. I hope the doggies there are nice. I hope I have a big backyard like here to run in.

Well my last bark of the day is that Ashley and Madeline are gone. YIPPY!!!! I will miss Ashley because she gives me lots of attention but Madeline was so stuck up and didn't even want to play with me. Cats are weird! I have now taken over Madeline's cat tree, and least the lower platforms. I like to sit on them to see out the window.

Well that's all for now. Off to help get things packed or distract Brittany from them as much as possible.

The Pool and New Pictures

Well for some reason mommy has decided that I am going to like being in the water, be it the swim pool in the back yard or the ocean. She says it is for my own safety that I know how to swim and not freak out if I fall in, but I think that she is just being crazy mommy. Today she put this bulky orange thing on me, which I thought was a new heavy sweater or something, but then she put me in the water with it on. I was so puzzeled at why she did this, but I was to worried that i was gonna be let go in the water that i didn't think much about it. Mommy says it is a life jacket and it will make me float but I am still not to sure about that. Maybe I will give it another try tommorw if it is warm outside. I will get a picture up ASAP of my jacket.

Barking about pictures, mommy finally put up some NEW pictures of me. These are recent picture with my new short puppy cut for the summer.

3) Just being lazy on a field trip with mommy.
4) This is me in my riot causing dog carrier. I love riding around in busy places like outdoor markets like this because no one steps on me. Mommy recently bought me a hat that matches my carrier and it keeps that bright sun out.
5) This was when I was in Salt Lake at Ashley's places. I had taken over Madeline's (her cat's) blanket. HAHAHAHA!!!
6) Mommy loves this picture of me sitting in the flowers becuase I was looking up at her with my tounge sticking out.
7) I guess I can sit and look at the camera at least for a few second while mommy takes another picture.

Crazy things going on at home!!!

Well the last week there have been crazy things going on at home. The 1st one was that Ryan, my mommy's boyfriend showed up. This was weird because I haven't seen him in forever which mommy says is becaused he moved to a state called Wisconsin, where ever that is. Anyway and then mommy and Ryan left and I was very sad. I however did not get to be sad for long because Mommy's brother and sister came home and with them came Madeline (Ashley's cat) and this big black dog Koda who I guess is Andrew's new dog. Mommy told me I had got a new cousin but this is the first time I met him. Well with all these intruders in my house I didn't even have mommy to run to. Needless to say I was going a bit crazy. Koda even chewed up and deystroyed my favorite toy, Mr. Squeky. Well ctaching up on writing is going to take a long time so I will continue to write in installments.

New Toy!!!!

Mommy got me a new toy yesterday. I love this toy so much I have only put it down to go to sleep last night, and that was because I couldn't get downstairs to play with it. Mommy closes the door to her room at night so I can't go wandering about the house getting into things. This morning when I was playing with my new squeeky ball I had to set mommy in her place. I was lying down chewing on it and mommy came up and reached toward me, I had to protect my ball, so I did the only natural thing and growled then snapped at her. She was so shocked that she didn't try to get it again. She said she couldn't believe that I snapped at her because I am never really protective of my toys. I guess now she will know that this is MY toy and not to go near it unless for some odd reason it gets stuck under the couch again. Well off to play before someone hides my toy.
