Arrival Story:
I had placed an application for River at the humane society the day before my birthday with the understanding that applications typically take 4 days or so to review. However, the following day was my birthday and my brother secretly went to the humane society and explained the situation to the staff. They were kind enough to let him bring him home to surprise me on my birthday...it was the best birthday present I have ever had :)
