Arrival Story:
Someone abandoned our precious girl in the parking lot of our apartment complex when she was only 3-4 months old. We fell in love, moved to a house and the rest is history!!
Bio:
Here I am 12 years later! I was having some mobility issues, dragging my hind legs. Mom took me to the vet but we couldn't see our usual, wonderful Dr. Thevis, so we saw a new vet. She thought it was a neurological problem and started talking about "quality of life". My Mom didn't listen (as usual) and made an appointment with Dr. Thevis. She x-rayed my knees, hips and spine and found my spine to be the culprit! There was arthritis and a couple of vertebrae were collapsing. She suggested acupuncture. Mom took me to Love's Animal Hospital and began treatment. After 3 weeks I was much better. After 6 weeks, I was doing great. I'm now going once a month. I am taking 45 minute walks and am back to my old tricks!
