Arrival Story: We had put down Norton on Thanksgiving and thought we would never ever get another dog..until I started looking for canadian breeders...so...I found one...she had 2 left in the litter, went down with my mom and sister...and we bought them both....
Bio: Harrison & Lenny are both from the same litter but you could only tell by looking at them. They have 2 different personalities! Harrison is the quiet shy type. Then you have Lenny the player!
Bubba, I am missing you so much these days - life isn't the same - it never will be. I never expected you to leave me that day, but Dr Jaime was meant to help us both - I thanked her for looking after you when I left. I am still waiting for your paw print to come home. I also have all of your "special" items in a special cases just for you - you know your velour pi's you loved so much, your special toys - I have your teddy on my bed with me - I need it with me.
I wanted to you know that I did donate a lot of the beds and a ton of toys to the humane society - i couldn't go in....but I was told that the puppies would have Christmas in Sept with the 7 bags of toys, and about 4 more bags of beds - I think you would have been happy to make so many more puppies have fun and be comfy in your beds that we bought over the 16 years together.
I just wish that I had that one more bear hug that we did every night, and just stared at one another for hours and Lenny just ignored us!
Bubba you will always be my baby, and will always be in my heart forever - no one will ever take your place
Lenny is doing good - he is still hanging in as he has done for the past few years. He is still loving his boiled beef with rago sauce and getting it everywhere - and he is eating dog food but still with syringes - you know if you were still here you would be helping him like you always did.
So I have had a bump growing behind my ear for about 1 year now....and the doctor said just to watch it as it has never bothered me....until the other day.....
Mom noticed that it was getting a little bigger and our yearly checkup is later this month....BUT I decided to scratch it...and it kinda started bleeding, mom got it stopped for a little while but I kinda touched it again...and you know....
Anyway mom calls the dogtor and she says it looks like a size of a blueberry as it went down in size BUT it is still broken open and it will still bleed again if touched....(from moi :)
Ohh she says it looks like a blueberry cause it is blaclish blue in color - dogtor says it is a tumor with blood vessels into that make it that color.
Anyhow...I now have to go in and get it removed, dogtor said only local and that I would be able to go straight home after and mom is staying holding my paw...dogtor knows I will be a good boy and I wont move BUT I am still scared :(
Then Lenny aka Scabby BOY! Well the scabs on his lower back have cleared but he now has almost the same thing behind his ear but they are black scabs but white....so mom didnt hear back from the dogtor and took things into her own hands...and CUT all the long hair behind Lenny's ear!!! BOL! You cant tell unless his hair is blowing in da wind....but it worked...he had a bath and short hair and it cleared up! 2 paws up for mom! I guess she knows a few things :)
Anyhow please cross your paws every goes smoothly....
