On 10-4-07, a beautiful female boxer was born. To a stranger whom we never even met until 6 weeks later when I read a newspaper article that he was selling boxer puppies. Our son, Sean bought her for me and my husband and I picked her up at this man house. From the first day she has been the most spunkiest, affectionate, energetic puppy we have ever had. Her sister Xena (labrador), who at the time was 4 yrs old,at first was jealous but then got along very well with her. Daisy and Xena were great together. Daisy has brought so much love to our family of 6 that we don't have enough words to explain at this time. We are just so greatful and happy to have been able to have found her and become her parents when we did and had this precious time with her. We hope to enjoy her a little much longer, with God's help and your support. She needs to keep fighting this disease at this time to continue and give us this love she has all these 3 years of her life. We love you Daisy.
UPDATE AS OF 8-5-11
Now she is battleting this terrible disease every day not knowing when is her last day with us. Doctors are just guessing on her treatment at this time. Her chemotherapy has been changed to a more stronger treatment because Daisy is in remission and she is only in her 8 week. she is not supposed to be in remission so early according to the doctors. She is only 3 years old! My baby needs to hold on a little longer, her birthday is on October 4th, please keep on praying for her. I love her so much. She is still full of energy and has so much spirit in her. thank you. If any of you would still like to donate towards her fundraising anything at all. Please read my information on how to donate, we are only a few dollars short to complete her funds. Please. She needs any help at this time since her treatment is going to be extremely higher than we expected and it is one hour away from home to drive her for chemotherapy. thank you and God Bless you. Ginny and Daisy Zmijewski
Daisy has been a healthy dog all her 3 years of her life and never missed any of her vet appointments. This disease was a big surprise for us as I took her to the vet for a regular check up and she had a swollen gland on her neck. The lab work came back negative but her vet asked me to bring her back because she was still concerned. I am so glad I did. She did a biopsy. That is how they found out she had the lymphoma cancer and we received the bad news on 5-21-11. Ever since that day, its like Daisy also knew it something was wrong. Because she has changed completely. Her behavior is so different now, she is no longer the full of energy dog we had and her affection towards others is not all there anymore. I believe she knows everything that is going on around her and she is depressed. So, please pray very hard for our Daisy and our family at this time. Thank you. Daisy and Mommy Ginny

Hello my friends and mommies; I am sorry it took me so long to answer. My mom laptop broke so she has limited access to writing and reading her messages until she can afford another one. With all my medical expenses it is very hard at this time to buy a laptop. But she misses it very much because she can not communicate with anyone as often as she used to and give you all an update on my condition. Right now I am on my last week of chemotherapy but I am not doing too good. So I will see the doctors on 9-8-11 for a decision on what other treatment to take from now on. Please pray VERY HARD for me and my mom. Thank you. God bless you and your mommy. Xoxox Daisy and mom Ginny

8-17-11, Update on my News Interview with NBC 17
Well you all, bad news and good news! Bad news is that they rescheduled because there was a plane that crashed locally in town that is taking alot of media right now and she has no time to come here. Understandable. Good news is that she is calling me back this week to reschedule. So, I will keep you all posted. Some dummy stole a plane in Chapel Hill and crashed in another town in our County. People are so silly. lol.
