I'm adopted

I have a home. My mom is sweet and pretty and she LOVES me very much. I have a sister too. She loves me too and I have a Granny and Gramps of my own. This is a wonderful life and I am so happy. My foster mom kept telling me I would get a home but I lost hope. Just when I did I got adopted.

My friend is gone.

My friend Payton is gone. He has his own family now and his forever home. He has a teen aged boy and girl. He has a little brother too. Biscuit likes Payton. I am happy for my friend. Now it's my turn to have my own home. I am going tomorrow and I will have a little sister. Wow! A sister and a mom and a family. My new mom is building a new house and I get to stay at my new granny and pawpaw's houst till it's ready. ME, I'm going to have a family to love me and take care of my for the rest of my life. I am so happy. I hope my new family likes me. I hope they love me. I don't know if I can sleep tonight. I am so lucky. I was rescued and I am safe and now I will have a family and a forever home. Thank you ARF-LA and mom & dad.

A good nap.

I had a good nap with mom this afternoon. The weather is very bad here. Lots of rain and tornado warnings. I heard mom and dad talking about a tropical storn hitting us. Well we are safe and sound and mom curled up in the recliner with me, Puffin, Willow, Baron and Heidi and took a nice nap. I scooted under the sogt fuzzy blanket and it was awesome. I wonder if my new mom will let me take naps with her too. I hope so. Mom says I am a great nap partner. ~~tail wags~~

My mom is moving.

My adoptive mom is going to be moving back here to this state very soon. That means I will get to go live in my own home and I will have my sister to play with. I am getting excited.

I'm good.

Been just hanging out with my friends. Mom let me sleep with her a few times but she said she doesn't sleep well with me in bed. She is afraid I will jump off the bed and hurt myself. I love sleeping with her. It's cozy.

I am dreaming about my new home and my new mom. I am excited about having a home of my own. I think my foster mommy will miss me very much. She tells me every day that she loves me. I will miss her too but we both know I will be loved and happy and she will be able to take in another dog in need of her help.

I'm getting adopted. My new mom lives in another state but she is from here and is moving back. She is getting a house and she wants me to be her new friend. She has a Doxie and it's a girl. I will have a sister! I am so excited. I have to stay here until she gets moved back but that won't be too long. I have a home. I have a mom. I have a new sister.

I'm a Diary Pick!

That's awesome. This made me feel better. I was feeling kind of down. An adoption fell through and I went again to Petco yesterday and didn't get picked. I had fun and my friend Shorty got picked! Lucky Shorty. Will it ever be my turn? Well Shorty and I went shopping in Petco with mom after the adoption showing. It was fun. She let us pick our favorite treats, a toy and she bought us so more yummy food. It really was a good day for me. It was a real good day for Shorty. He is staying with us till next month when his new family gets moved into their new house. Oh Mom posted pictures of me and Shorty shopping at Petco in my photo album. I hope all my Dogster friends check us out. She put them on the front page. ~~~tail waggin a mile a minute~~~

I didn't get picked. :(

I didn't get picked. Payton didn't get picked either. They didn't really like Payton but wanted me. The nice lady said she thought about what mom told her and changed her mind!!! Gee Mom. You are my worst enemy? Mom told her that because she lives in a 2 story house that she would need a gate at the steps so I can't go up and down. The lady said she thought about it and didn't think she wanted to do that.

Mom said Dachshunds have a long spine..........well of course. She said going up and down stairs is dangerious for the spine and she does not adopt us to people with stairs unless that gate them to keep their pup fron them I don't know if that is true. I love mom and dad so I guess they know what's best.

Petco

I might be getting adopted. A nice lady likes Peyton but she likes me too. I am going to her house this week and see who she likes best.

I might get adopted.

Mom and Dad are taking me to Petco again to look for a good home. I am always nice when I go there. I am friendly and I wag my tail a lot. People like wagging tails. I hope I get a home soon. The longer I stay here the harder it will be for me and for Mom for me to go.
