Arrival Story:
Like many people, I was totally clueless about acquiring a dog at the time I bought Berit. I wouldn't change a thing -- Berit is one of the three most important creatures in my life -- but in the future, I will not go to a breeder for a dog. There are too many homeless pups out there. That said, Berit coming into my life was a magical thing. Even though this is not normally a "good" way to get a dog, I bought her fairly impulsively, but it's never been the wrong choice for me. She transformed my life! In fact, I met my life partner at a dog park -- Berit was a puppy and Teek (now Berit's sister) was the same age and size. They became fast friends and the rest is history.

Aunt Johanna (Enzoman's mom) brought us each a squeaky toy. I don't usually like toys too much, but this one I liked a LOT! And of course my stupid sister took it away from me, and I can't take it back because she is the alpha. It's not fair. To make me feel better, my mom took me for a car ride all by myself, but still.
I wonder when Dr. Holly will call my mom to tell her what's wrong with me. I had some funny blood tests to find out why I lick so much and why I keep getting skinny. It was mean, I had to hang out at the vet's office for 3 whole hours.

But we didn't do anything, hardly. My mom was reallyreally busy, but I got to swim once and go for two car rides. I'm getting McDonalds this weekend for a late birthday party. Plus, I'm getting a Frosty Paw and a cupcake. My mom rules!

I can't wait. First, my mom is taking me to the lake and I can swim all I want. Then, we're going to McDonalds. I'm allowed to have a cheeseburger! Then my sister and I each get a cupcake. I am SO excited! I'm going to be seven years old.
