My former owner was elderly and she had Alzeihmer's dizease, so she didn't purposley place me in a kill shelter. I was the only one left and she couldn't take care of me. My new daddy was on a business trip when he happend to walk into my shelter, which was behind his hotel. I was in a window-cage with Great Danes and German Shephards that were mean to me. He saw me in the window and asked to see me. He checked my collar and my experation date was the day he was going home. He just had to have me. So he called my new mommy and the rest of the family agreed to bring me home. There were two other dogs my size already living there. Before I left the shelter they neutered me. They thought I was 1 years old. While getting neutered, the bigger dogs that I shared a cage with, ripped my comfort-toy. It was a little lamb. My dad wanted to fly with me underneath his plane seat.I was a bit too big to fit in a plane cage. He canceled his flight. He put me in his rental car, and drove me to New York. It was 14 hours! I was a good girl though. When I got to my ''Forever-home'' my new mommy knew I was still a puppy, NOT 1 years old. When they took me to get my first checkup the truth was revealed. They finally understood that I was only a baby of three months old. And since then I lived happily ever after, with two other dogs and a great family!
