Arrival Story: Sadie is Barkley and Darla's daughter. She was one of a litter of 8. There were 6 boys and 2 girls. They were born 2 days before Christmas. What a Christmas present. 8 healthy bundles of joy. It was a great experience and Darla was an awesome mother. Sadie is our little princess and is so much fun. She brings laughs and smiles every day and she's a very good girl.We named her Sadie because the definition fits her perfectly. She has this penetrating look when she looks up at you. The definition of Sadie was this: Dogs named Sadie are often kind and sweet dogs. They are often intuitive and have penetrating eyes. Whey they look at you, you feel as though they know what you are thinking. People that meet dogs named Sadie often say "what a sweet dog" the origin is Hebrew meaning Princess. And what a princess she is. Her registered name is SAMDAS Somethingroyal. As a baby she was quiet and content and sometimes she was content to just have her own space or play with her littermates. She is independent yet she does check in with you and listen (most of the time) She has done puppy class and has received her AKC Star Puppy Certificate. We are looking forward to further training and even showing our new baby girl. She is silly and playful and is just adorable. What fun it is to be part of her world. Boy it's been a long time since I could come and play on Dogster. I have lots of great news to share with you. Mom and I have been busy going to school and learning new things. The first thing we did was work to achieve our Canine Good Citizen and get tested and certified for Therapy Dog International so I can visit patients just like my daddy Barkley does. I am soooo happy to report that we accomplished this in March of this year. Then mom started to show me the Rally Obedience ring and so we competed in 3 competitions and I earned my 3 legs I needed to have my new title which is called a RN, standing for Rally Novice. I got a score of 95 which we tied for 3rd place out of 20 dogs my first time every in the ring. Our second trial I got a 93 and got 2nd place, and the third trial was outside which was a little distracting for me at a very busy place but I still got a 90, it wasn't good enough for the podium but mom was proud because that was the final leg we needed for my title. So now we are working on the next level and learning to do new moves. I have been visiting patients and bringing smiles every week to patients. It is so much fun and now I have initials after my name just like my dad, Barkley. I hope you all are having a happy summer. It is going by soooo fast. I've been having fun in my pool and playing with the hose too. It's such a blast. Mom has taking me swimming and on a couple of hikes too. Mom bought me a new doggie fountain and you have to step on the pedal to get a drink of water. I learned how to do that so fast, so now I can get my own drink when I'm thirsty from playing ball.

I was so happy and excited to see that my diary was chosen as one of the picks for the day. It makes me feel so special. I don't have too many entries just yet but I can 't wait to share my days and fun times with all my pup pals on dogster. Thanks Dogster!!!!

you know how my dad has a lot of initials after his name for different titles he has earned, well mom says I'm about to get my first initials for a title I earned. She said that I am officially a member of the NPC. I'm not too sure what it stands for but after I jumped in the shower while she was in there, that's when she told me. maybe it has something to do with water. I love playing in the water. Anything that has water in it i play in it, like my pool, the water buckets, a container....you get the idea. Well I said i wanted to be just like my dad so now it looks like I"m on my way to my own titles. Are there any other NPC's out there?
