Pet-Peeves:
If you pay more attention to her sisters than her, baths, and although she loves riding in the car, she gets sick EVERY TIME- so I guess that'd be a pet peeve for us ;)

Favorite Toy:
ANYTHING she can get her paws on or anything one of the other dogs wants. She loves to sneak the broom into the backyard, bones, anothing squeeky, her rope toy, sometimes frisbees.

Favorite Food:
Pretty much anything you put in front of her and anything she can eat laying down because she's a lazy girl.

Favorite Walk:
She loves going for runs around the neighborhood, walking around the park, or shopping in Bass Pro or Lowe's ;)

Best Tricks:
To hide under the bed when she's in trouble.. or atleast she tries, she has a hard time fitting anymore ;) She's gotten down sit, lay down, shake, and working on rollover but gets distracted by wanting a belly rub on rollover ;)

Arrival Story:
We found Layla on Petfinder.com at an animal shelter and absolutely fell in love with her. After driving almost an hour to "just meet her", of course she came home with us! She was listed as a Husky/German Shepherd mix which when she was younger she looked alot like a husky but have since found out that her Mom was a German Shepherd/Husky & her Dad was a wolf- the animal shelter was able to rescue 3 out of who knows how many of her "siblings" that were unsocialized & fed raw meat every few days. The older she gets the more we see the wolf in her, but she has the stance & ears of a German Shepherd.

Bio:
Since Layla has started maturing, more and more of her "wolf instincts" have been coming out. Alone- she is the perfect dog, 100%. Just wants to be with you and is as loyal as they come. But she cannot be around any other dogs or pets. She needs a home with NO pets, no intentions of getting any others either (for the safety of the other pets). Layla is house trained, spayed, up to date on all shots, knows sit, lay down, shake, no, get down, get back, and outside. She needs to be primarily an inside dog, but loves play time outside. She needs LOTS of excercise and a constant reminder of who's pack leader. She needs a strong owner who will establish dominance well with her. It absolutely breaks my heart to find her a new home- but she needs somewhere that she can be herself. She's my baby, but I have to do what's best for her.
