Arrival Story:
When he was 4 months old he was caught twice more than a couple miles away from his home with his previous owners, by my uncle. Upon the second time returning him, he noticed the living conditions of Indy and his canine counterparts. They were all malnourished and looked like none of them had ever had a kind hand layed upon their heads. He then asked if they even want this beautiful 4 month old baby, and they said "no." Knowing that we are such dog lovers, and a sucker for a good rescue, he immediatly called us. We didn't think twice. To think that someone could abuse such a beautiful dog! Since then he has blossomed into an extremely obedient, loving and intelligent dog with both high energy and restraint exibited at just the right times. He loves swimming, fetch with his favorite toy, a disc golf putter and pretty much anything his best bud, a black lab mix, Ayden does. You'd be amazed at how quick 200 yard suicide runs after a disc will wear out even the most energetic of breeds. I wish I could take credit for training such an amazing dog, but sadly I suspect his obedience is not only out of love, but out of fear. With nightmares running rampant and headshy to the bone, Indy is a loving aussie (we assume) who is open to anyone with a kind voice, and a soft hand.
