Bio: "Bronx is a big, handsome brindle gentleman. He is house & crate trained, gets along well with his three boxer friends at home, shares his toys & loves to play!
He was very shy when he first came to our home, but is now an energetic wiggly boy. He is still a bit slow to meet new people and sometimes other dogs, but that is changing daily for the better as he gets out and socializes. He seems to like females better than males on most occasions but as he learns to trust again this should not be an issue.
His favorite activity is playing in the water; tub, hose, sprinkler- this makes him the happiest boy ever! He & his foster sister Cayenne enjoy chasing each other around the yard until they drop from exhaustion!
Bronx walks well on a leash and knows several commands. He follows requests when he is one on one with his foster parents, but when in a group of dogs he tends to forget training, but we are working on that.
He loves a good snuggle at the end of the day! Sometimes he gets to sleep outside the crate on a big pillow & he has always slept the whole night thru without any noise or roaming. He would probably do well without crating at night, but for now we are keeping him familiar with the crate.
He would love a home that has time to take him on walks and have play time. He still has a lot of puppy energy & would also enjoy another doggy companion. He has a lot of love and devotion to offer the right family !"
