Arrival Story:
I found Tex on petfinder.com, which I routinely scan just to look at all the gorgeous dogs. As soon as I saw his pretty eyes and silly short legs, I knew he was my dog. He was at a shelter five hours away, but I set up an appointment, drove over to see him, and took him home immediately. I was his third owner by the time he was two years old, but this time, it stuck.

Bio:
Tex is a chronic puller of leashes, a devoted kisser of faces, and a passionate chaser of cats. He rarely barks, howls low and grumbly, and often groans out of happiness, which, in turn, makes me so happy that I groan. Tex tends to rumble with other dogs and has a bit of a Napoleon complex. I have never known another to dog to cuddle so sweetly, and I like to think we saved each other.
