Arrival Story:
Stella was adopted by us on June 2, 2011. She is in the process of gaining some weight and getting used to living with us. Right now, she is under weight at 32 pounds and needs to be up to a LEAST 50 lbs. We rescued her from an animal rescue organization where they told us that she was abused and neglected as a puppy; found half frozen to death in the middle of winter next to the side of the highway. She was in the shelter anywhere from 6 months to a year before we found her. She is a beautiful dog and listens very well for a 2 year old (19 in dog years). She knows basic commands such as COME, NO, HUSH, DOWN and GOOD GIRL. She also likes to play with her Mom and aggravate the neighbors that live below us. She is very intelligent and has a personality that would blow your mind to find in a dog.
