eating, playing, giving kissyface, and getting loved on!
when he's out on a walk and passersby don't stop to tell him hello
he quite likes to give the stuffed lion a "haircut"
anything so far! he takes it like a gentleman too!
walks are so exciting! he pulls on the lead to get everywhere he can go. We're working on that!
starting to learn a nice sit and to wait for food instead of jumping up in the first day! Bax is really clever, and both food and toy motivated!
Baxter is our first ever foster dog! We foster for The Little Dog Rescue, which has a network that for now is largely in the South of England but we are a part of helping it to expand Northward! He's had a very long trip, it was a labor of love for the awesome transport team to get him here to us. We're grateful, he's a little star already!
Baxter is a ten month old cross, approximately 1/4 Yorkie and 3/4 JRT. He was surrendered by owners who were very sorry to see him go.
Baxter is: Neutered, Vaccinated, in good health, friendly, playful, gets along with other dogs, adores children, is motivated by both treats and toys, loves cuddles, and likes to be right in the thick of things. He'd make an amazing pet for any family who is prepared to meet his energy needs and be consistent with the household rules. He is housetrained and responds to a few simple commands. He's ready to love and be loved!
Baxter was adopted on 13 August 2011 by a lovely couple with another terrier he seems to simply adore! So wonderful! Congratulations baby buddy!
