Best Tricks: Spirit is an ace working dog but not much for tricks and treats
Arrival Story: Spirit was born from my last official litter and was my 'pick' pup of the litter. However finances intervened and at six months I decided to sell her to a well meaning farmer who claimed to need a working dog. I check out his home, his other dogs and he signed my contract. Around 9 months later I went to check and found my girl on a four foot chain with no food, no water, two broken ribs and a cracked pelvis. A dog that should have weighed 35 pounds only weighed 17. I was horrified and took control of her before animal control even arrived. Her trip to the vet nearly killed her when she reacted to the mild sedation. It took me over a year to get her to the point where she was no longer aggressive and reactive with me.
Bio: Spirit is a brain child, she's utterly brilliant with any kind of livestock. Persistent, driven, and fearless describe her while working. However away from livestock she's steady unless someone invades her space. As such she doesn't go into public places, she's a homebody where I can control her interactions (she and I prefer that she just get left alone)
