Leave a bone for Fred- In Loving Memory

Nicknames: Boo Bear

Quick Bio:
 Birthday: July 19th 1992
Likes: Eating, sleeping, eating more, hiding shoes, carrying around the food bowl

Pet-Peeves: Rain, the goats, the chicken, empty food bowls

Favorite Toy: Oh boy, the food bowl! If I pick it up and drop it on mom's foot often enough, sometimes she feeds me!

Favorite Food: Frosty Paws. Mom won't give me real ice cream, but that stuff is still pretty good.

Favorite Walk: The beach. I love to swim and chase the birds!

Best Tricks: If I dance on the other dogs heads, they will get off my pillow really quick.

Arrival Story: I met my mom many years ago when I was still a young pup. She showed up at the house I lived in. The woman there had me and my siblings in an old baby pen. While they were talking I was able to chew a hole in it and get free. I had my brother by the ear and was trying to rescue him through the same hole, but he was being silly and wouldn't listen to me. Then my mom walked over, made me let go of my brother and lifted me in the air. It was love. I knew she would forgive me for little things like eating doors and books. We've been happy together ever since.

Fred passed over the rainbow bridge on August 14, 2005. He lived 13 good years and will be greatly missed. So on behalf of Fred, give your dog an extra hug and maybe a cookie and tell them how much you love them.

Okay, maybe it wasn't really hunting, but I still got that silly bird. I was laying out in the yard, sunning myself and minding my own business. Then all of the sudden a cattle egret tried to land on me. Stupid bird, I don't look anything like a cow! I snapped at him the first time. But the bird came back and attempted a second landing. Well, I couldn't let that kind of rudeness pass and snapped at him again. Imagine my surprise when he didn't fly away in time. All of the sudden I've got this bird in my mouth! I was kind of surprised. I may be old, but I still remember what to do. I have him a good shake, then took him over to mom. She was so proud of me. Helped pull the feathers out of my teeth and gave me a dog cookie. Yup, it was a good day.

I am a Shiba Inu, therefore everything in this world is mine. Mine, mine, mine! Everyone worships me and tells me how handsome I am. If I'm feeling generous, I will let my adorers pet me. Some other dogs think I'm stuck up- really they're just jealous because they wish they could be Shibas too. Who wouldn't want to be me?
