Arrival Story:
While driving on a busy street near my home, I saw a white shaggy blur darting in and out of traffic. I pulled over, and coaxed this big furry mess over to me. And was he a mess!!! It was raining and the fur on his head had grown past his eyes. I scooped him up and put him in my car. He smelled so bad. For a second, I thought he might be a farm animal!!! I told my boyfriend we should come up with a name to use for him until we found his owner. He took one look at him and said, "Shag". I searched for his owner, but he had no microchip or collar. None of the agencies had reports of a missing dog fitting his description. By the end of the week, I knew Shag had adopted us. I took him to my Vet to get him checked out and updated on his shots. The Vet said he was most likely a Labradoodle and about 10 months old. The next weekend, I had him groomed and he was such a handsome boy!!!
