LBG's Diary of a Pup

It's my 10 month birthday

Well, today is my 10 month birthday. In a couple more months, I'll no longer be a puppy. A lot has happened since I last wrote....

I now have a step-brother named Grandpa Tony (don't even ask). He's a tiny little chi-yorkie mix rescued from a pet store because he had a hernia. I act more like his mom that his step- sister!

I've also made many doggie friends in both Manhattan, Forest Hills and Long Island. My first time at a dog run, I kind of let the other dogs walk all over me. But, now I can hold my own and even love playing with the bigger dogs.

What else? Well, I am also a doggie model! I know, I know. Sometimes they force me to wear pink. But, it's okay because I love to pose for the camera! And, I love everyone telling me how cute I am. My mom gets really excited when one of my photos make it into print!

Once I am 1, I can start the 2nd half of therapy dog training. I can't wait to help others. My mom had great experiences with therapy dogs after 9/11 and knows I'll be a perfect addition to the therapy team as I've helped her so much.

Did I tell you I love NYC mass transportation? I can frequently be found on the LIRR, F or E trains and the Q12 express bus? I love people watching and they sure seem to love me, too!!!!

I also found a big huge park called Central Park. It is the coolest place in the entire world! There's so much to do and so many dogs to see.

On a sad note, mommy and daddy decided to break-up. I don't really understand why he doesn't come over to play with me anymore. But, it's okay because mommy seems happier and now we get to go to the Leashes and Lovers events and meet all the single people and their dogs.

My 6th month birthday

Well, yesterday I turned 6 months old. Momma says you can tell in my pictures how my face has changed and my little nose has grown. The black in my face has also gotten more defined. I am 100% housebroken and know how to be a lady. I still hardly ever bark and my mommy is still my bestest friend!

Those pesky pesky eyelashes

Well, I will be 6 months old on Tuesday and my eyelashes haven't fully come in yet--- but they are getting there!

I remember when mommy first got me- my eyes were all buggin out and funky looking. My eyes kind were hurting and I was rubbing them a lot.

Of cousre mommy called the vet (who by the way thinks she is very silly- remember that Friends episode when Rachel calls Emma's dr. nine thousand times in a day).... But, he said that's just cause I was 5 months old and it was time for my eyelashes to come in.

And, slowly, they have been and I am turning into a beautiful young lady.
