they were all her favorite, she loved cheese, peanut butter, chicken, steak, she would literally eat anything

anywhere she could go past another dog in a yard and freak out
Best Tricks:
sitting like a human at the dining room table. she didn't learn many tricks. she would sit, but wouldn't stay, she was too anxious. she also loved to leap into your arms or vault into my lap.
Arrival Story:
we had adopted a dog from the Town of Hempstead animal shelter a few months earlier. we went in one day and saw a french bulldog puppy and inquired about adopting him. There were 3 other people ahead of us but we were told if we came in on Saturday and he was still there, we could take him. When we went in on Saturday, he was gone but we found Twinkie, curled up into a tight little ball. I fell in love with her on the spot and we signed up to be first claim on her.
Bio:
We lost Twinkie suddenly on 10/8/04. I miss her terribly. I come home from work and expect to see her little face in the window, looking for me. The last time I saw her, her little face was in the window watching me leave. I miss you Baby.
