Arrival Story:
We found her hiding in a brush pile behind the house in the Summer of 2003. One of her back legs is shorter than the others but it doesn't stop her from running and playing. When we first found her we thought maybe someone had hurt her and thrown her out but we now feel that she was born with the disability. She is very skittish so we still feel that she hadn't been treated very good. It took us several weeks to get her to let us touch her. Now she will climb up in our laps and demand love. She's a very sweet girl!

I'm so glad that I found my Mom and Dad. I watched them from my hiding place for a long time before I let them see me. Once they saw me they tried really hard to get me to come to them. I was a little frightened at first but they kept trying and bringing me food. They really love me and aren't afraid to show me and they never say or do anything that scares me. I love my new home!
