My OH My! Mom and Dad took me to Petco today! I never go to Petco cause I need to lose weight and cause mom and dad love me and have talked for a yr about adopting me for their own. Well Doodle's adoption fell through this morning before we left so mom looked around at who she could bring and there I was looking up at her. She put my pretty pink harness on me and some pretty Mardi Gras beads too. I was so excited to go someplace.
When mom took me out of the suv she said "Willow, be very sweet to everyone just the way you are to us, your family". I loved Petco. Lots of different smells. Lots of different sounds. Dogs I never met before and people too. It was fun! I wagged my tail and smiled big for them all. I did just what mom said to do. I met the very nicest couple with a little dog named Hobbs. He's nice and the people are very nice. They LIKED me a lot. They told mom and dad they want to adopt me....ME! I looked up at mom and dad to see if they liked the people. They do like them. Mom talked to them a long time and answered questions about me. I introduced myself to Hobbs and we visited. He is a little shy but nice. Mom has to check their vet references and check with the apartment manager to see it's OK for them to have me. Mom and dad will take me to their home and look at the dog walking areas and doggie park they have. If it's all ok, I will have my forever home. My forever home will not be here. That's kind of a surprise but I think I will like it. Let's see what happens on Monday. :)

Tell your papa to follow his heart whether these folks are good enough for a Cairn princess and will know how to treat you. I know your mama has worked so hard to get you ready and looks for the best people, but it is still worrisome.
