My Paw Print...

Two Days, and Can't Wait!

Today has been one week since I went out to the breeder to meet my pup. We drove all the way to Minden Ont! That's about two hours away from where we live. Jackson, the American Bulldog is as cute as can be; he is absolutely perfect! When we arrived at the breeder's house, Pepper, Jackson's mom was there to greet us. While she accepted me right away, she hesitated when meeting my boyfriend; she didn't like his baseball cap. After he removed his cap and put it into the car, Pepper seemed less hesitant. She was still barking and jumping around, but calmed down after she realized we are just friendly!

Once I laid eyes on Jackson, my puppy of course, it was love at first sight. I picked him up into my arms and he melted in them right away; like he knew I was his new mommy! His picture on the internet didn't do his puppy face justice. Even though he is a cute pup, we were also looking at temperament too. Well, we couldn't ask for a sweeter dog. He was playful, but calmer than some of his crazy sisters! His litter has 2 boys (Jax and Dewey) and 6 rambunctious females (Spot, Dax, Dot, Cinder, Yogie, and Duchess) all extremely cute puppies, and they all have beautiful markings.

But as this Journal's title implies, it is still two days until I get my puppy! Let's just say I am having a hard time sleeping and not constantly thinking of my new furry friend!
