Arrival Story:
Jed is approximately 6-7 years old and his breed mix is unknown. I was volunteering at my local shelter when Jed and his brother came in. He was nothing but skin and bones and had a bad case of heartworms. He was close to death. His brother did not make it. I adopted him after taking him out for a walk and he literally stuck to me like glue and would not take his eyes off of me. I HAD to take him home. We put some weight on him and gave him lots of love. After he gained some weight, we treated him for heart worms. He almost died from the treatment but he hung in there. He is now the most hyper dog in the pack. I don't believe there could possibly be a more loyal dog anywhere. He is loving to any person that he meets. He is so sweet and gentle. We do not regret saving him. He has enriched the pack.
