Basic Biscuit Recipe!

Yay! Mommy found a basic recipe for treats, which she is gonna use to make special doggy treats! Since I am so picky, I will be a judge for them, and if I think they are good enough, she will sell them at the BowWow Boutique! :3 That means she can make money for the SPCA, as well as for me and her other pets!

Basic Recipe

2 eggs

1/4 cup milk
2 cups whole wheat flour
3 tablespoons wheat germ
Preheat oven to 350º. Break eggs into a bowl and stir until blended. Add the wheat germ and milk. Stir until smooth. Add whole wheat flour and mix into egg mixture with your hands. Pat dough into a rectangle 3" wide and 1/2 inch thick, then cut it into 3/4 inch wide bones shapes. Place 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 25 minutes on one side and turn over and bake 25 minutes on the other side. Cool biscuits on racks. Makes 16 dog biscuits.
