Gotcha Date: February 21st 2009 Birthday: April 1st 2006 Likes: Eating, playing, hanging out with me. Pet-Peeves: Bees and flies! Favorite Toy: Anything tuggable and flippable. Favorite Food: Chicken, bacon, bison, cheese, and whatever else mom will share. Favorite Walk: Off leash park by the river in Prospect. Best Tricks: Jumping through hoops, sitting pretty, high five, crossing paws, fetching money. Arrival Story: I adopted Gus (formerly known as Lassie) in 2009 from a very nice lady named Vic who found her running loose on a country road and took her in to her own rescue foundation. She had her for a year before she would adopt her to just the right home. I'm glad she approved, because Gus and I have had the best time ever since! She's amazingly silly and athletic and pretty darn smart (especially when there's food involved!)--a fearless climber and jumper, a fast runner and loves people of all sizes! A total sweetie--I couldn't wish for a more wonderful friend! Bio: We proudly earned our CGC -Canine Good Citizen certificate in 2010. We've been working on agility since last summer--hopefully we'll be getting to some trials this year and also got the first two legs of our Rally Obedience Novice title this spring!

Yesterday, Gus earned her first title in Rally Novice. I'm so proud of her! We still have a lot of work to do (esp. me) but Gus has come a long way since we first got together.
