Arrival Story:
Daddy had some extra time and visited our local no-kill shelter. He knew mama liked little dogs and thought she might like this guy. Later that evening he took mama to meet him. When the volunteer gave him to mama to hold, he instantly cuddle in her arms with his head on her shoulder. It was love at first sight. Daddy asked mama if she liked him and she gave a big smile and shook her head "yes". Then he asked if she wanted Donnie. Again she smiled and nodded in the affirmative. While mama and Bruzer sat cuddled together, daddy made the arrangements and they would go back in two days to get him. When they went to get him, the shelter told them he had been rescued from a puppy mill and not only been abused, but had been in a cage that was too small his entire life. Mama and daddy were so happy they would be his forever family and home and he would not have to stay in a cage day in and day out. And he would never be abused, have the run of the house and when outdoors he could run and play as much as he wanted!!

Bruzer's brother was at the shelter, too. Mama and daddy wish they would have rescued him, too. By the time they decided, he had gone to another family. They were very happy tp hear that. Bruz's tail is bent in three places and he was so thin, all his ribs were showing when he first went to his forever home. Bruzer has three brothers. (Pepper the Peke is on this account with him as family. He also has a Husky brother named Spirit - these two brothers have gone to the Rainbow Bridge) a brother who came to HIS home after him. He's a Golden Retriever named Rex, a brother who is a long haird Chi named Snuggles, and a brother who is a chi/pharroh named CoCo. Bruzer knows he is the smallest in the pack, but still tries to herd all of them. He is no longer smallest - Snuggles is, but he still tries to herd!!

Forums Motto:
Bruzer Cruze - Cheers you up

Bruzer's daddy found him at a no-kill shelter. He thought mama would like to have him because she loved little dogs. That evening he took mama to see him and decide if they would be his forever family. The volunteer gave him to mama and he cuddle up in her arms with his head on her shoulder. They brought him home two days later and changed his name from Donnie to Bruzer.
