They used to call this "Gizmo Gitmo". I had no idea I could just jump out.

   Leave a bone for MoMo

Nicknames:
Gizmo, Mo

Quick Bio:
-purebred-dog rescue

Gotcha Date:
May 2nd 2011

Birthday:
March 10th 2008

Likes:
Playing with toys, taking all the attention he can get, running around his big new backyard.

Pet-Peeves:
People he doesn't know, dogs who don't to play with him, the icemaker and visitors

Favorite Toy:
He likes them all...even if they aren't his.

Favorite Food:
He eats everything....

Best Tricks:
When he wants something and you say know, he strains his little bootie muscles and squeezes out a couple of tears. That worked with his other mom, but not with us.

Arrival Story:
MoMo belonged to a friend of ours. We used to dog-sit him when she would go out of town. He fit in very well with the rest of our pack and got to know us quite well. Just before his 3rd birthday, our friend had a baby who she's raising on her own. Between work and the baby, MoMo wasn't getting enough attention. His potty-training was regressing and he was getting a little snippy with the baby. We kept him for a couple of weeks to give the new mom a break and MoMo just fit right in. It worked out better for everyone if he stayed here with us permanently.

Bio:
MoMo has a recurring skin condition that periodically makes him lose all his fur. We believe it may be related to a nerve condition and seems to get better when he has a more structured environment. We're hoping that he'll soon stabilize and his coat will fill in.

Forums Motto:
Can you really say "no" to this face?
