Life On The Farm...So Far :)

I'm so happy here in my new home, and I feel like I've always been here. My new momma really loves me, I can tell. She always smiles and hugs on me...and when I do something good, she gets so excited and tells me how good I am! I just can't help but get excited too!

The country and our farm is like nothing I've ever seen before. There's a momma pig with her babies, and these crazy birds called guineas, and chickens, and a turkey! Then there's these funny little animals called goats...They really interest me! It's fun to watch the baby goat jump on and off the momma goat's back! BOL! There's also a momma and daddy goose here, but they aren't very nice. They chase me if I get too close to their babies. There's also horses (boy are they BIG!) and a donkey...momma says to stay away from her, though. She doesn't like dogs. That's okay, she scares me anyway, so I'm happy leaving her alone!

My favorite thing is playing with my new sister, Trocair! We play chase through the house and momma takes us outside with her and we play tag, chase, fetch, and tug o war out there. Our yard here is very big so there's tons of room for sprinting around and stretching our legs! I sure wish Manny would play with me too...he tries, but then he gets scared. *sigh* Oh,well.

Well, it looks like momma is going down now to put the chickens in for the evening and to collect eggs. I love going with her!!

My Very Big Day

Hi everypup! I would like to tell you all about my very big day! It happened yesterday...

The morning started as usual. Breakfast, play time with my mom, brothers and sister in the yard...everything normal, or so I thought.

In the afternoon a lady and a man dropped by and came in to visit us as we played in the yard. My humans talked to these humans and there was lots of butt wiggles and face licking going on with all of us and the new lady. I knew something was going on, but I just didn't know what!
Next thing I know, I'm being scooped up in the new lady's arms and my lady human was taking our photo for her scrapbook...how weird was THAT?

Next thing I know, I'm being carried to a big red pickup truck and being put inside!!! WHAT IS GOING ON??? I've ridden in a car before, so that's no biggie... but all by myself????
As we were pulling away, I was comforted by the new lady who snuggled and petted me and explained that I was going to live with them on their farm!
"What's a farm?" I asked myself, and I'm sure many of you would ask the same question. Well let me tell you, it's amazing! There's so much room! And the animals...lots of strange animals. Some of them very big, some of them small...WOW! I'm in complete amazement at everything!

My new little brother, Manny, doesn't like me very much. I wanted to play tag with him, but he freaked, made a loud squeak, and shot under my new mommy's feet like someone had lit him on fire! He growls at me if I get too close, but I hope he will learn to like me.
My big sister, Trocair, however is awesome! She likes to play the exact same way I do! Why, just this morning, when our mommy let us out to potty, we had an awesome game of tag and raced around the whole yard playing...until I saw this HUGE brown and white thing. He was just staring at us, and I was staring back! I've never seen anything so BIG! Momma laughed and explained to me that he was called a horse, and she said she would teach me to go with her when she rode!! So, not only do I have a new home, and new pawrents, and new siblings, I get to be an explorer and go on expeditions with mom into the great unknown! YIPPEEEEE!

Well, I'm still learning how everything works here, and what the whole routine is, but momma (and Trocair) is very patient with me and is teaching me everything I need to know, like where to potty, and important things like that.

Well, I'm off to explore more stuff! I just wanted to share my adventure with you. I will have more to share in the days to come! :)
