My Diary

I found a baby bird!

Whhooo, what a day! I scared Mom today--I ran in holding a dead baby bird but she yelled and I ran right back out. Anthony was so excited barking at me that he got in trouble. Mom came out and took him in. Daddy Aaron sat beside me and helped guard it from everyone. After I got tired of carrying it around, Aleah grabbed it, later Adin got it and Anthony did too after he got to come back outside. Anthony and I even played tug-of-war with it. Maybe that's when someone pulled it's leg off. I later threw up. Mom had given us our Heartgard Plus just before I found the baby bird. Mommy Angie caught a toad today and was tossing it around. She taught all of us how to throw our shoulder down on it and roll on it. Mom doesn't appreciate how we smell but we're happy we get to be real dogs and play outside a lot and do stuff like we did today.

Well, it was for sure that Mom was always going to keep me because I am the littlest girl and tan instead of rust like my sister and brothers. So I guess you can say I've had a little more attention than some of the others (although Mom tries to be fair). Both of us girls have stand up ears like Mommy Angie and the boys ears still flop. We all got to keep our tails since Mom thinks that is so cute when we switch our tails really fast. Usually I hold my own with my siblings but sometimes they are so much heavier, they chase and pin me or bark at me for a minute. They do the same to Adin and sometimes we do it to the big ones. Whoever gets held by Mom usually has to pay the price because the others get jealous. But Mom makes us be nice to each other.
