Arrival Story:
Duke came to us at 8 weeks. Around 2 years, his epilepsy emerged. We never could diagnose the triggers. After another 4 years of endless seizures and barbiturates and diet modifying and the like.... he went into his last seizure and had a stroke. There was nothing we could do. He wasn't going to come out of this one. He was brain dead... I held him and petted him during the injection. I miss you Duke - you were the sweetest most loving animal I've ever known. I LOVE YOU
