Arrival Story:
I was left at a kill shelter in Kentucky cuz my person no longer wanted to take care of me :( Someone thought I was a miniature Chow Chow and thankfully I was saved by The Chow Rescue of MO. The Rescue sent me to a Foster Mom in Georgia. That's a lot of moving around! Foster Mom was smart and noticed my wonderful Keeshond genes! My new family had recently lost their old friend Skeeter when Papa found me on Petfinder. Papa wasted little time and drove all night to adopt me. Then we drove back the next day to my new home and that was the longest ride ever! We bonded on the way eating smokies and napping in the car :) First day home my folks found fleas on me YIKES! I got brushed, washed and medicated. I am quiet (so far) and every day feels more like home. Thanks Skeeter for sending my new family. I sure need them.

Bio:
Nobody is sure what kind of dog I am. I kind of look like a Chow Chow but Papa swears I am very Keesy while my curly tail and fox-like face say I'm German Spitz. My family says it doesn't really matter as they know I am a good dog. And I am starting a new life now with my new family. Life is good!

My kitty furiend Belle asked me to play spring tag :)
I am to list 5 things I love about spring

1) I spend lots more time on the back porch because it is nice outside
2) I can dig in the dirt
3) I go for more walks with mom
4) I can eat grass :)
5) The yard gets more interesting with all the animals coming to the bird feeder tree.

I tag any buddy who wants to play

I broke my knee!

The other day when I was getting up, I hurt my knee! Yup, just standing up and walking :( A trip to the vet and I found out I tore my ACL (CCL for us doggies)I got some pills to help me feel better and I do feel better. I can carefully step on that leg now. But the scary thing is that my vet wants me to have surgery to fix it with a cable. Have any of you been through that? Are you all better now? It's 'spensive to fix my knee. Maybe Santa can help. I have been a Very Good Dog.

My mum heard me barking and barking and came to see who/what was in MY backyard. Do you know what trots fast, flaps big wings, and has a bunch of friends with him? I didn't know either! They were Turkeys! Yuppers, we had wild turkeys in my backyard. They didn't stay long cuz I scared them. Do you have them in your yard?
On turkey patrol,
Frankie
