Favorite Walk:
Her favorite walk has changed. She now prefers the park that is very close to our home. I tried walking her at her old favorite spot, but she wouldn't walk any further than 50 feet up the road. It's in Muskoka so I guess she's afraid of the bears. ;-)

Best Tricks:
Getting me to get up off the couch to put her out only to have her refuse to go out. She's done this several times in a row.

Arrival Story:
I knew her before she even existed. I was in touch with her breeder before her mother was even pregnant. Thanks to excellent communications with her breeder I'm almost positive her conception occured on Feb 13, 2002. The afternoon she was born (April 20) her breeder emailed me to let me know the mother was in labour. It was a quickie because 90 minutes later, 5 puppies (3 boys, 2 girls) were born. Since I was second on a waiting list for a female, I was thrilled to hear there were 2 girls. They weighed in at 7 oz and the other at 5 oz, I emailed her back and told her that I'd love the smaller girl but would be happy with either one. The other family who were on the list for a female made it to the breeder first to choose their puppy, but it didn't make any difference because luckily for me they chose the larger puppy and I was left with the one that I wanted anyway. Over the next 2 months Daisy emailed me several pics of herself, many with the caption "Good morning, Mommy". She also sent me pictures of all her brothers and her sister from the litter and she even sent me a picture of herself and litter mates when they were only a few minutes old and freshly cleaned off from birth, feeding from mommy. I picked her up on Father's Day that year which made her exactly 8 weeks and 1 day old when she came home. As you can guess, we've got a very deep bond, even if she does drive me nuts sometimes by leaving biscuits on my pillow or in my bed.

Bio:
Most of the very small puppy pictures here were taken by her breeder and emailed to me. In the group of 5 pups, I think Daisy is the smallest one (the one on the far right) although I can't be sure. The 2 pups curled up are Daisy and her sister, which is which, I don't know. Daisy walking in the rain carrying an umbrella was a little something I was doing in Paintshop Pro as an experiment. I liked it so much I saved it. Daisy at the keyboard was another pic taken by her breeder and emailed to me.
