SAD NEWS

My new family came home Easter Sunday afternoon to find I had made my journey to the rainbow bridge. They were all shocked, as they thought I was doing better since I had been playing more, and had even started eating a bit more. The mom feels guilty...is blaming herself for not taking me to the vet when I first showed up at their house.......

Hello

My name is Dakota. Well, at least that's what the family I'm living with now is calling me. I showed up on their property in the wee hours of April 18th. I woke everyone up rearranging the patio furniture on their back porch. The next morning the humans came out and gave me some food and water. Later on the mom and her daughter came out and played with me. I showed them how I could catch a tennis ball in my mouth...sometimes. They're very nice to me here, and I think they want me to stay. I heard them say something about going to see the vet on Monday. I sure hope they don't leave me there, because I really do like it here. I'll keep you all updated....
