Arrival Story:
I had a friend who was going through a divorce and in the process of moving to a place where he couldn't take Bowie with him. The other option was to send him to a shelter, where he would surely be put down due to his aggressive nature. We had a quick connection, and he came to live with me soon after. :)
Bio:
Bowie has gone through a lot of training and dealt with quite a few health issues since coming to live with me. He is currently being treated for canine epilepsy, an overactive thyroid, and separation anxiety (affectionately referred to as the "trifecta"). He is incredibly protective of me, and very wary of strangers and other dominant dogs, although he does warm up to others provided lots of careful exposure and supervision, combined with positive reinforcement and treats. He loves to visit his Grammie and Grampie, and play with his uncles Odie and Olie (who are also Eskies!)
